Her story:
Sarah is one of the most significant women in all of Scripture. She receives more mention than most any other. She is the wife of the Abraham, the patriarch of the three Abrahamic faith traditions—Christianity, Judaism, and Islam—and therefore the matriarch of the same. Unlike so many women found in sacred texts, she is not only known and named, but honored. This is incredibly profound.
And if her, so too you! Sarah serves as a representation of what you deserve: to be known, to be named, to be honored. Profound, indeed.
I could tell you of her—provide you a paraphrased version of her long story. But I’ve decided to not—this week, anyway. Instead, I want to jump straight in.
