Today's Card: A Woman's Wisdom on Your Behalf

From the story of Eve

How perfect that Eve is the card I drew for today - this first week of the new year. She is, of course, the woman and story that always comes to my mind/heart first . . . the beginning, our mentor and muse for what it means to be human, and an invitation to the wisdom inherent within our desire. Ahhhh.

And given that my book’s title is Rewriting Eve, I’d be remiss if I didn’t turn to some of that text for today’s reflection and thought. The epigraph for her chapter would be enough for us to hold close for every day of the year ahead:
